Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and perform preventative maintenance across properties in the East Bay region.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8 am–5 pm) with on-call not required, and includes a $500 car allowance and cell phone reimbursement. 3–5 years maintenance experience required, with relocation or travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of current maintenance experience.
• Adaptable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins by creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Tracks inventory, accesses materials, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents work and paperwork timely for service-request tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
