Main Street Housing, Inc in Maryland is hiring a full-time maintenance handyman to service properties on the road. You will handle drywall repair, painting, and light construction, with potential Lead Paint maintenance certification.

The role requires frequent travel across the Baltimore metro area, a HS diploma or GED, an owned insured vehicle, and a collaborative, safety‑minded approach. Compensation is $17–$20 per hour, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years handyman/maintenance experience and HS Diploma or GED.
• Own vehicle with insurance, and able to pass a background check.
• Positive attitude with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Personally uses or has used mental health services at some point in their life.

Responsibilities

• Perform drywall repair, light construction, interior and exterior painting, with potential Lead Paint Maintenance & repainting certification.
• Fix common plumbing and electrical issues; coordinate with vendors and technicians as needed.
• Perform manual labor under varying conditions, ensuring safety for self and others.
• Travel frequently to properties across the Baltimore metro area and surrounding counties; be on call as needed.
