Job summary

Maryland Management Company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to service housing communities. Duties include completing resident work orders, preparing units for new residents, and handling after-hours emergencies with safety and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair skills, owns tools, and reliable transportation. A background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification (EPA 608) preferred.
• Apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance repair skills required.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Must have your own tools.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders promptly and accurately.
• Perform apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Perform snow removal when required.
• Follow safety procedures while performing duties.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
