Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in Richmond, VA. The role covers responses to daytime emergencies at offsite hospital locations and preventive maintenance across facilities.

You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks using power and hand tools, keep logs, and work with a work order system. The position runs 7:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Experience with minor drywall and flooring.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks using a work order system.
• Reading and transmitting complicated detailed instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
• Assists in making decisions on routine repairs.
• Maintains equipment and performs minor repairs using power and hand tools.
• Performs building maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and drywall maintenance.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds, and completes work orders, tests and inspections.
• Reads, comprehends and transmits complicated detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
