Job summary
Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Maintenance Technician for VCU Community Memorial Hospital on the 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday). The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/technician preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
- Driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems.
- Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks, rebuilding flush valves.
- Supervising and adjusting the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
- Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures, ceilings tiles, and responding to general building issues.
- Using drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Coordinating specialized work with vendors and contractors.
- Performing preventative maintenance on emergency power, lighting, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Conduct building and mechanical room inspections per maintenance program.
