Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Planner to define priorities for critical equipment and incorporate reliability-centered maintenance tactics into plans. You will coordinate with maintenance supervisors, optimize labor and material use, and improve data accuracy while upholding safety standards.

The role requires strong planning, scheduling, and leadership abilities, with experience in mine systems, budgeting, and ERP software.

Qualifications

• :Degree in Mine, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• :Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• :Experience with underground mining methods, narrow vein preferred.
• :Proficiency in operating and capital budgets.
• :Experience with PC-based software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and ERP systems such as Oracle/JDE.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, plan preventative maintenance and repairs for all Mobile Equipment
• Coach and mentor employees in accordance with S-SMC leadership qualities
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure effective use of manpower and materials
• Learn, upgrade and improve software used for maintenance tracking, forecasting and communications
• Prepare work packages including conditions, constraints, parts list, and best practices procedures
• Support safety, environment, and regulatory compliance across the site
