Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with diesel and/or heavy-duty truck repair preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in various weather and road conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes and brake inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems including brakes, suspension, drivetrain, HVAC, and electrical components.
• Conduct fleet inspections and ensure safety and DOT compliance.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and complete repairs.
• Maintain service truck, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs and timelines.
• Assist with shop or warehouse duties when not on service calls.
