Job summary

Southern Tire Mart in the United States is seeking a mobile tire technician to respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck.

You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger, light and heavy-duty vehicles, diagnose tire issues, and perform light mechanical repairs as needed. Maintain tires and wheels, and communicate service timelines clearly. Overtime may be required, with safety policies strictly followed.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Valid driver\\'s license with acceptable driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–250 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a service truck.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger, light and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose tire issues and perform light mechanical repairs.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear and proper inflation.
• Operate TPMS and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain the service truck and tools in safe condition.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Provide clear communication of service details and timelines.
• Assist with warehouse or shop duties when not on service calls.
