Job summary

Eagle Mine is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to perform lubrication, diagnostics, and preventive and corrective maintenance on light duty fleet vehicles and heavy mining equipment in underground and surface environments.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, ability to read manuals and schematics, and familiarity with SAP. Candidates should be able to operate cranes, forklifts, and welding equipment, and follow all safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and drawings.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on underground mining equipment.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a safe workplace.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop repair solutions to prevent breakdowns.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance in SAP.
• Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and boom trucks; use welding equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
