Job summary

Eagle Mine, LLC is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to perform lubrication, diagnostics and both preventive and corrective maintenance on light and heavy equipment used in the mine, in underground and surface environments.

You will inspect, service and repair equipment, maintain safety standards, keep accurate records in SAP, and operate cranes, forklifts and welding tools as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile equipment servicing or lubrication preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems of heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Willing to work independently with high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on all underground mining equipment.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, and vendors
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective repair solutions to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Conduct systematic checks, lubrication, and parts replacement.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and state/federal regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in SAP.
• Ability to operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and boom trucks.
• Ability to use welding equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
