Job summary

Eagle Mine is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to perform lubrication, diagnostics, and preventive and corrective maintenance on light and heavy equipment used in the mine. The role operates in both underground and surface environments and requires strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting, with records kept in SAP. Candidates should have 1–3 years' heavy equipment experience and mobile maintenance certifications

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
Must be willing and able to work independently with a high safety standard.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, lubrication, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on underground mining equipment.
Maintain housekeeping to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, and vendors.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective repair solutions to prevent equipment breakdowns.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan.
Conduct systematic checks, lubrication, and parts replacement.
Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities in SAP.
Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and boom trucks; use welding equipment.
