Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support its Corcoran Fleet Services integration. The role involves preventative maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and performing DOT inspections at customer locations.

You will work across various light/medium vehicles and equipment, with a rotating schedule and extensive travel. Travel is 100% and the position is production-based pay with potential for additional incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in a similar capacity Technician role.
• Participate in and complete all-in company required training.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
• Travel to and perform work at customer locations, with most work outside.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on light/medium vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Use hand tools, precision instruments, diesels tools, lifts, and jacks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect and test equipment to diagnose malfunctions and document findings.
• Order and pickup parts needed for each job and update Repair Orders.
