Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support our Corcoran Fleet Services integration. You will perform preventative maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and DOT inspections at customer locations, while following safety policies and company procedures.

The role requires statewide travel, a rotating Mon-Fri / Mon-Sat schedule, and a flat-rate pay structure. You’ll collaborate with a support team to deliver reliable, high-quality service and meet performance targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Own set of hand tools.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicles.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in a similar technician role.
• Must participate in required training.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations; most work is performed outside.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light/medium vehicles.
• Change oil, check batteries, and lubricate equipment as needed.
• Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and equipment such as scanners and gauges.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Complete DOT forms and documentation in a timely manner.
