Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to service a dedicated customer across the region. The role involves preventive maintenance, inspections, and light repairs performed at customer locations, with most work conducted outside the shop.

You will travel 100% to job sites, follow safety guidelines, and document findings on repair orders. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with at least one year of relevant experience and on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicles.
• Ability to determine tools and equipment needed.
• Weekly pay is provided.
• Technical training available to advance your career.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and light repairs.
• Execute DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light/medium vehicles.
• Diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Independently determine parts required and obtain them for service.
• Document work performed with RO photos and notes.
