Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support our on-site mobile maintenance services. You will perform PM inspections, light repairs, DOT inspections, and diagnostics at customer locations, often in outdoor settings, with travel to a dedicated customer in your area.

A Monday–Friday schedule keeps you home every day. Expect to learn advanced techniques, work with various light/medium vehicles, and maintain safety and quality across each job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicles.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in a similar Technician role.
• Own set of hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on light/medium vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Travel to customer locations and work mostly outside.
• Document findings and upload RO details.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
