Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support our growth after acquiring Corcoran Fleet Services. The role performs preventive maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and licensed DOT inspections at customer locations, with 100% travel.

You will work on pickups like F-150/250/350 and related equipment, following safety policies and documenting RO findings. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
Minimum of one year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or equivalent.
2 years of equivalent experience in a similar capacity Technician role.

Responsibilities

Travel to and perform work at customer locations, often outside, 100% travel.
Perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light/medium vehicles in the field.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
Diagnose and repair electrical/ braking/cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and related components.
Document findings and upload photos to Repair Orders (RO) and complete DOT forms.
