Florida Department of Transportation seeks a Mobile Survey Specialist I to support lidar and orthoimagery survey projects, ensuring timely, high-quality 3D remote sensing products. You will operate department hardware/software, review colleagues’ work, and manage data transfer with districts and external partners.

The role includes assisting QA reviews, supporting emergency management data collection, and evaluating new mobile survey technologies while maintaining high geospatial data standards.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent; one year in Surveying & Mapping, Photogrammetry, GIS, or CAD.
• Post-secondary education substituted year-for-year for required experience.

Aufgaben

• Performs lidar or orthoimagery survey work and checks the work of others.
• Coordinates data transfer, management, and archival with Districts and partners.
• Supports QA reviews and emergency management data collection.
• Assists with research and testing of emerging mobile survey technologies.
