Miller-Keystone Blood Center is seeking a Collections Specialist Lead (Lead Phlebotomist) to oversee donor collections in a healthcare setting. The role requires leading and mentoring staff, ensuring safe and compassionate collections, and maintaining compliance with procedures.

The position begins with a salary around $21.28 per hour, with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans and paid time off. Training occurs on-site at the Bethlehem center with variable hours.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
• 2 years as a Team Lead in a healthcare setting required.
• Ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Ability to use software relevant to the position.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, train and model professional behavior for staff.
• Ensure staff provide excellent customer service.
• Plan, prioritize, set goals, assign shifts and communicate expectations.
• Oversee all activities, supplies and equipment for successful blood collection events.
• Review daily quality control for accuracy and completion.
• Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
