Job summary

City of New York is seeking an IT Service Management specialist to support a smartphone deployment pilot across New York City, coordinating device setup, enrollment, and inventory management. You will liaise with technical and non-technical staff, track incidents in Service Now, and ensure quality assurance across ITSM operations.

The role requires in-person work across NYC boroughs, with primary office in Long Island City, and extensive travel to NYCHA developments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering and 4+ years ITSM experience or
• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years ITSM experience or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end device setup, enrollment, and validation.
• Manage incidents, service requests, tasks and problems for mobile devices.
• Track deployment, inventory, and user access through Service Now.
• Provide user-level technical support and troubleshooting.
• Assist with logging into devices and configuring accounts.
• Develop and maintain ITSM process documentation.
