Job summary

AppLab Systems, Inc is seeking an on-site IT Field Service Support in Troy, NY. The role requires providing deskside/OSS/FSO support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and AV equipment, with strong communication and customer service skills.

You will diagnose and resolve software and OS issues, perform imaging/re-imaging, and manage end-user devices while maintaining SLAs. The position is contract-based for 6+ months, with occasional weekend on-call support and mileage reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proficient in managing IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, printers, handhelds and conferencing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, Teams and related collaboration tools.
• Experience with Azure, Intune, AD users, policies and management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside/OSS/FSO support for desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones and AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot software and OS issues; image/ reimage systems and perform basic admin tasks.
• Own incidents end-to-end, update tickets and communicate status to users.
• Perform asset inventory, end-user training and guidance on hardware/software.
