Job summary

Software Placement Group in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Territory Manager to serve a defined geographic region as a mobile store, delivering industrial hardware products and service directly to businesses across transportation, aerospace, manufacturing and more.

You will prospect, call on customers, present products, maintain the mobile store, and submit daily reports while managing relationships and hit sales goals. The role is full-time, on-site/field-based.

Qualifications

• Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available.
• Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle.
• Must maintain a clean driving history.
• Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong tenured work background with no job hopping; ideal candidates have worked at a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and a proven history of goal attainment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on businesses near existing customers.
• Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm sales prospects.
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store.
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store.
• Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls.
• Continually maintain customer contact information, including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses, using company software.
