Job summary

Enstructure seeks a skilled Welder to perform in-house and mobile repairs at our waterfront terminal in Memphis, TN. The role requires heavy stick welding and plasma cutting expertise to ensure the integrity of containers and chassis.

Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, material handling with power tools, and accurate work orders. Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Must pass an extensive background check.
• Must hold a valid state driver’s license.
• Must pass a drug screen and physical.
• Excellent communication skills for teamwork and reporting.
• Above-average hand-eye coordination for precision welding and repairs.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all shipping containers and chassis using IICL standards as a guide.
• Weld and cut during routine and extensive repairs of containers and chassis according to DOT, OSHA, and IICL procedures.
• Measure and cut materials using pneumatic and electric power tools.
• Assess damage for estimates and reparability; complete work orders and inspection paperwork.
• Support maintenance of all other equipment as assigned.
• Maintain chassis safety and operational standards.
