Job summary

Pegasus Support Services, LLC is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems in the San Diego area, with travel to various sites and independent work. Some after-hours emergency responses are possible to mitigate issues and prevent damage.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CFC licenses and related certifications, plus a valid driver’s license, with at least three years’ experience in a commercial/industrial HVAC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; CFC license and TDLR cert.
• CFC Universal certificate and valid state driver’s license required.
• 3+ years in operations, maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC/R in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs HVAC systems.
• Performs maintenance and operational checks of mechanical and electrical components.
• Installs temporary and permanent units; uses hand and power tools.
• Interacts with customers to determine problems and repair requirements.
• Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment; responds to service orders.
