Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mobile HVAC professional to perform maintenance and repairs on building systems across Akron and surrounding areas. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with contractors while traveling between facilities.

The role requires a high school diploma, EPA 608 Type II certification, and at least two years of commercial building systems experience. A valid driver's license and Excel/Word skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; proficient with Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety and building control systems.
• Travel between multiple facilities to ensure equipment and building systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Conduct preventive maintenance including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating and replacing components.
• Monitor system performance and adjust readings to maintain optimal function.
• Ensure safety policies are followed, manage inventory/tools and coordinate with outside contractors.

Our client, a global commercial real estate and facilities management leader, is seeking a Mobile Engineer 2 to join their team. As a Mobile Engineer 2, you will be part of the Facilities Engineering & Operations team supporting multiple commercial facilities throughout the Akron and Cleveland, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a safety-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC

Location: Akron, Ohio

Pay Range: $35/hour (Contract-to-Hire)

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

Perform maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and building control systems.

Travel between multiple facilities to ensure equipment and building systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Conduct preventive maintenance activities including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing equipment components.

Monitor system performance, record operational readings, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal equipment function.

Ensure compliance with safety policies, manage inventory and tools, and coordinate maintenance activities with outside contractors.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

EPA 608 Type II Certification required.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
