Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on facilities, equipment, and systems for 70+ clients in the region. The role includes a Monday–Friday schedule (8–5) with a provided van, gas card, tablet, phone, PPE, and uniforms.

You will inspect, maintain, and optimize mechanical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems while adhering to safety standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or trade training and 4–5 years of related

Qualifications

• Must have Universal CFC certification and a valid Driver’s license.
• Experience working on self-contained units is required for success in this role.
• Knowledge of water-cooled heat pumps is a plus.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing stairs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage supplies.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance.
• Ensure building systems meet design specs and client environmental conditions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Operate company vehicles to perform daily tasks.
• Apply standard principles to solve complex assignments and offer innovative solutions.
• Coach teammates and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and build consensus consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact various customer, operational, project, or service activities within teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies and communicate difficult information.
