Job summary

Johnson Controls North America is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to join our commercial service teams. You will perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems, including rooftops, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers and compressors.

You’ll collaborate with Servicemen and apprentices and travel as needed. Applicants should have at least three years of HVAC troubleshooting experience, the ability to use vibration equipment and dial indicators, and be a member of

Qualifications

Minimum of three years commercial/industrial mechanical troubleshooting in HVAC.
Experience with rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors.
Able to use vibration equipment to troubleshoot drivelines.
Must be a member or willing to join the UA Plumbing & Pipe Fitting union.
EPA Universal license, state/local licensing, and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial HVAC systems.
Install and service light commercial and/or industrial equipment in field.
Travel 10%–20% to support branch activities and customers.
Provide quotes and work with Servicemen and apprentices.
Prioritize safety and adhere to union guidelines and standards.
