Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support our fast-growing North American HVAC business. You will work on light to heavy commercial systems, performing maintenance, repair and replacement services on a range of equipment, including chillers and rooftop units.

Expect travel 10–20% to support branch activities and customer sites. We provide factory certification through our STA, competitive incentive programs, and a union-aligned benefits structure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years commercial and/or industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• EPA refrigerant license and applicable state/local licensing are required.
• Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers and ammonia/hydrocarbon systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to ensure facility runs efficiently.
• Collaborate with Servicemen and apprentices and participate in training programs.
