Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to support our North America operations in Irving, TX. You will perform maintenance, repair and installation tasks on light commercial and commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, pumps and chillers, while upholding safety standards and quality service.

The role requires hands-on trade experience, ability to diagnose issues, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers.
• Able to perform mechanical shaft alignment and use vibration tools.
• EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license.
• Member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry.
• Travel up to 20% to support branch activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with Servicemen and apprentices to service customers.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to improve facility efficiency.
• Ensure safety and document work orders.
