Job summary

Johnson Controls in Pooler, GA is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to support light and commercial service teams. You will perform maintenance, repair, and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems and collaborate with journeymen and apprentices.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in HVAC troubleshooting, a valid EPA refrigerants license, and a willingness to travel 10–20%. Union-based pay and benefits are provided through the local agreement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, and chillers.
• Ability to read schematics and perform preventive maintenance.
• EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to support branch activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Prepare quotes and support sales with service quotations.
• Collaborate with journeymen, technicians and apprentices in branch teams.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all tasks.
