Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Baton Rouge is seeking a Mobile Engineer 2 to join the Facilities Operations Team. You will support maintenance across multiple locations, focusing on HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and building systems with strong troubleshooting and EPA certification requirements.

The role offers standard business hours with on-call availability, temp-to-hire employment, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).75

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of technical experience in commercial building maintenance or related trades.
• Strong HVAC/R troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance background.
• EPA Certification (Type I & II required; Universal preferred or obtainable within 90 days).
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities and participate in on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC/R, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and facility systems.
• Maintain, operate, and repair commercial HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building components.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments, reporting conditions that may impact building operations, safety, energy efficiency, or client occupancy.
• Update work orders in real time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Respond to service calls, complete assigned repairs, support operational uptime across multiple facilities, and participate in an on-call rotation when required.
