Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in California is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care. You’ll practice medicine on the road, meet families in their homes, and give pets a peaceful send-off with dignity.

Choose your schedule: 5-day full-time with $145,000 guaranteed salary plus quarterly bonuses, 4-day full-time at $120,000, or 2–3 day flexible self-managed options. Benefits include 401(k), PTO, and comprehensive insurance, with no non-compete.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Weekends on your terms.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance.
• License verification, a background check, and a driving record review before your start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and end-of-life veterinary care to pets and their families.
• Practice compassionate medicine on the road with self-managed scheduling options and strong teamwork.
