Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice invites compassionate veterinarians to practice end-of-life care on the road, visiting families in their homes with time to listen, explain, and honor each pet's story.

You can choose from 2–5 day schedules, including self-managed options, with a guaranteed base salary up to $135,000 plus generous quarterly bonus opportunities, excellent benefits, and no non-compete. Join a supportive team that values balance and humane care.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Weekends on your terms; flexible scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check and driving record review before start.

Responsibilities

• Practice medicine independently on the road delivering in-home hospice care.
• Provide end-of-life care with compassion in clients' homes and support families.
• Receive onboarding and ongoing mentorship within a collaborative team.
