Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care across California. Work on the road, visiting families in Stockton, Oakdale, Modesto, Valley Springs and surrounding communities, with time to listen and support families on their pet’s final journey.

Choose a schedule that fits your life: 2–5 days per week with guaranteed salary and generous quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Weekends on your terms with flexible scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 90 lbs with assistance.
• Licensing verification, background check and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life veterinary care.
• Practice medicine on the road with autonomy and support from the team.
• Support families through difficult moments with dignity and care.
