Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide end-of-life care in the comfort of a family’s home across Ventura and surrounding California communities.

You'll practice independently on the road with mentoring and support, a guaranteed base salary plus quarterly bonuses, and a generous benefits package, including 401(k), PTO, CE allowance, and insurance. Choose a 5-, 4-, or 2–3 day schedule with self-managed options.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent required and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Ability to pass license verification and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life veterinary care in clients' homes across Ventura and surrounding CA communities.
• Practice independently on the road with access to mentorship and team support.
• Engage families with kindness, answer questions, and help honor pets' stories.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
