Job summary

Kare is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home and facility-based care for hospice patients and their families. This mobile role requires a reliable vehicle and daily travel to patients in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

You will assist with activities of daily living, support clinical staff during examinations, help with mobility, and maintain a clean, safe environment in homes, long-term care, and residential facilities.

Qualifications

• Certification as Hospice Aide or CNA required.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures.
• Experience providing care for patients in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in homes or care facilities.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals.
• Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
