Job summary

Caring Hospice Services is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide/CNA to travel to patient homes and facilities in the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. You will perform daily living assistance, monitor vital signs, and support mobility for hospice patients while maintaining strict safety and infection-control standards.

The role requires valid Hospice Aide or CNA licensure, proficiency in medical terminology, and experience in patient care across settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals
• Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols
• Physical ability to lift and move patients safely

Qualifications

• Certification as a Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures
