Job summary

Gemstone Communities seeks a Mobile Home Community Maintenance Tech to perform home and grounds upkeep, handle work orders, and assist with refurbishments. Responsibilities include lawn care, waste removal, and safe operation of maintenance equipment, with on-site duties in a residential community.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety compliance, and timely communication with the Community Manager; some on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid operator’s license and a good driving record.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC and carpentry.
• May need to provide own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to keep homes and grounds in good condition.
• Execute work orders promptly and report progress to the Community Manager.
• Interact courteously with residents, visitors and staff.
• Identify deficiencies and take corrective action with approval.
• Maintain community grounds; mulch, trim shrubs and perform lawn care.
• Remove garbage from grounds and assist with pickups as needed.
• Monitor equipment inventories and report needs to management.
• Keep garages and storage areas organized and safe.
