Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lb) and operate equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; DOT certification preferred.
• Ability to read maps and navigate to patient locations.
• Pass a background check and drug screening; able to work independently.
• Adherence to safety policies and DOT regulations.

Driver/HME technician

Med Resources, the premier provider of Respiratory and Home Medical Equipment in the Midwest and Georgia is seeking a reliable and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Driver/HME technician.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up durable medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, hospital beds, and other assistive devices to patients using company vans
• Assist with setting up and demonstrating equipment use, ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with company policies
• Assist the warehouse team when not performing duties outlined above. Includes unloading and restocking assigned van, cleaning and checking equipment, and general warehouse duties as needed
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, service records, and patient documentation
• Communicate with dispatch, patients and caregivers regarding delivery schedules and special needs
• Perform routine vehicle checks, report any maintenance issues and keep assigned van neat and organized
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures

Requirements

• Insurance and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
