Med Resources is seeking a Driver/HME technician in Covington, GA to deliver and set up durable medical equipment, including wheelchairs, oxygen tanks and hospital beds. You will demonstrate equipment use, ensure patient satisfaction, and maintain logs and safety procedures. A clean driving record and DOT certification or ability to obtain it are required; shift Tue-Sat; local travel.

Qualificações

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment (up to 50 lb).
• Ability to read maps.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently.
• DOT certification or ability to become DOT certified (certification provided after hire).
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Prefer candidates living within 30 minutes of Covington, GA.
• Willingness to work Tuesday–Saturday shift.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and set up durable medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, hospital beds, and other assistive devices to patients using company vans.
• Assist with setting up and demonstrating equipment use, ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
• Assist the warehouse team when not performing duties outlined above. Includes unloading and restocking assigned van, cleaning and checking equipment, and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, service records, and patient documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, patients and caregivers regarding delivery schedules and special needs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, report any maintenance issues and keep assigned van neat and organized.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
