Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to inspect and service heavy-duty snow removal equipment at customer sites and Alamo facilities. You will test, troubleshoot, and adjust systems, using wiring diagrams and hydraulic/electrical knowledge.

You will also conduct training for customer staff and perform installations and pre-delivery checks. The role requires reading blueprints, extensive travel (up to 95% in the USA/Canada), and a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as industrial mechanic/heavy equipment technician.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Travel required; valid US passport or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service heavy-duty snow removal equipment at customer sites or facilities.
• Test, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment; provide technical support.
• Work from wiring diagrams and perform installations and start-ups.
• Conduct training programs for customer staff on operation and maintenance.
