Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to inspect and service heavy duty snow removal equipment at customer sites and Alamo facilities. The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and addressing customer questions, with travel across the USA and Canada.

The position requires a minimum 5 years as an industrial mechanic or heavy equipment technician, a tech degree in electro-mechanical fields, and strong blueprint/electrical/hydraulic knowledge. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as industrial mechanic/heavy equipment tech.
• Travel availability to USA/Canada obligated.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics (electrical/hydraulic).
• Technical or associate’s degree in electro-mechanical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service heavy duty snow removal equipment at customers or facilities.
• Provide on-site technical support and diagnostics; troubleshoot and adjust as needed.
• Communicate product issues and corrective actions to internal teams.
• Perform pre-delivery inspection, setup, and start-up of equipment.
• Train customer employees on operation and maintenance of equipment.
