Job summary

Columbus Equipment Company in Ohio is seeking a Mobile Technician to service heavy equipment across our locations. You will train on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components, perform diagnostics, repair and preventive maintenance while upholding safety standards.

You will read manuals, communicate with customers, keep records and ensure timely invoicing. Requires 2+ years of experience, a strong work ethic and good teamwork. We offer comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
• Experience with truck-mounted hydraulic equipment or similar heavy equipment.
• Must read and write English and communicate clearly.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Background and DOT Drug Test.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-the-job and classroom training in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components to service mobile equipment.
• Inspect machines to determine overall condition and perform maintenance.
• Diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues and restore equipment to working order.
• Uphold safety commitments and customer safety requirements.
• Maintain records, parts ordering, invoicing, and use manuals for procedures.
