Job summary

Perrysburg, OH-based Columbus Equipment Company is seeking a Mobile Technician to service heavy equipment at customer sites. You will learn and perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship while interacting with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years prior experience with repairing and maintaining Heavy Equipment.
• Strong computer and software skills for diagnostics and service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and strong work ethic.
• Good interpersonal skills with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-the-job and classroom training in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components to become a mobile tech.
• Uphold the safety commitments of both company and customers.
• Inspect machines to determine condition and perform needed maintenance.
• Diagnose hydraulic and electrical system issues and repair components.
• Restore equipment to working order through parts replacement or repair.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• Keep records, order parts, manage warranties, and assist with invoicing.
