Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our mining operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu and Volvo machines, perform welding and fabrication as needed, and support preventative maintenance.

Full-time position with 40+ hours weekly in surface and underground mine settings. Required HS Diploma or GED, valid US driver's license; 5+ years of related experience; trade-school certification preferred; CDL a

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US driver's license required.
• Minimum 5 years of CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo quarry/construction equipment or diesel engine repair experience.
• Trade school certification preferred.
• Mining experience a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• CDL and clean driving record a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel-powered equipment.
• Remove and install mechanical parts as needed.
• Weld, cut and fabricate on plant or mobile equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
