Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Mobile Equipment Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment, troubleshoot and rebuild parts, and conduct preventative maintenance on quarry and construction equipment.

The position requires 5+ years in CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo equipment repairs, a valid US driver's license, and a HS diploma or GED. A CDL and additional certifications are a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role in a mining environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years experience with CAT/Komatsu/Volvo quarry equipment.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Trade school certification preferred.
• CDL and clean driving record a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment.
• Weld, cut and fabricate on equipment.
• Operate and maintain diesel engines and related systems.
• Ensure safety at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
