Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to service heavy‑duty trucks and trailers at customer sites with a fully equipped bay on wheels. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair while delivering professional, accommodating service.

Travel to facilities across TA’s network, diagnose wear conditions, and recommend preventive maintenance. Strong communication and safety focus are essential; a valid driver’s license and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Repair or parts shop experience preferred.
• DOT physical examination required annually.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose wear conditions and recommend maintenance actions.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Provide accurate, efficient service and keep customers informed.
