Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to travel to customer facilities with a fully equipped bay on wheels to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You’ll deliver accurate service and help travelers return to the road better than they came.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a DOT exam annually, and flexibility to work during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam annually.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities or distribution centers for preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers.
• Perform repairs on heavy‑duty trucks and trailers in a professional manner.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
