Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to visit customer facilities and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers. You will troubleshoot and diagnose issues, ensuring service is accurate and efficient to get travelers back on the road.

Expect travel to various sites, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with customers to recommend optimal maintenance plans. A valid driver’s license and DOT-ready status are required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical annually.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Experience in repair or parts shop preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to a customer’s facility or distribution center to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in a safe, professional manner.
• Provide accurate service and recommendations to customers.
• Follow Truck Service standards and customer programs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
