Job summary

FleetPride is a leading distributor of heavy‑duty truck and trailer parts. The Mobile Technician II role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostic checks and component replacements with limited supervision, both in the shop and on the road.

You will diagnose system failures, advise on repairs, and participate in occasional after‑hours coverage. A strong history with Class 7–8 trucks is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Welding certification or ability to perform welding tasks is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot suspension, electrical, exhaust and steering systems.

Education
