Job summary

HOLT Truck Centers is seeking a Mobile Technician to perform basic repairs and services on heavy‑duty trucks in a mobile, field-based environment. You will develop mechanical skills, improve efficiency, and begin diagnostic work while servicing customer locations around Houston Loop.

The role requires two years of experience, a high school diploma or technical training, and ongoing safety training. You will travel up to 100% and mentor junior technicians while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or technical training.
• At least two years of experience in heavy‑duty vehicle repair.
• Ability to learn and model HOLT’s VBL culture.
• Ongoing safety training and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate independently in a mobile service environment across multiple sites.
• Diagnose and repair moderately complex engine malfunctions with direction.
• Perform thorough engine and equipment repairs to factory specifications.
• Document service reports, timecards, parts requisitions and returns.
• Mentor and coach lower level Technicians.
• Adhere to safety policies and hazmat regulations.
